Rapstrap Ltd is a UK company based in the East Midlands. We produce a range of patented plastic fastening straps known as rapstraps, which are sold all around the world.

The business is a spin-off venture from the R&D company "Kosine", which was founded by rapstrap inventor Andy Harsley in 2002.

In April 2008, Andy was invited to Pinewood Studios to demonstrate the rapstrap to five of the UK's leading entrepreneurs on the BBC TV show "Dragons' Den".

Rapstrap impressed the panel, securing the assistance of multi-millionaire Dragons James Caan and Duncan Bannatyne, and also a new business partner - Peter Moule from their earlier "ChocBox" investment.

The company has since become increasingly busy, with enormous interest in the rapstrap coming from across the business spectrum; Rapstrap is now expected to become the most successful venture ever to appear on the show.

We expect this rapid growth to continue over the next few years, and during this period, we plan to introduce additional versions of the product to cater for the many different market requirements we are encountering.
